I been seeing that a lot of people been saying to get a 1000 watt mono amp. But if all together the wattage for the two subs are 2400 watts, wouldn’t I want to get a 2400 watt mono amp? I have two Kenwood KFC-W3011 12″ subs at 1200 watt peak and 400 rms. So two of them would be 2400 watt and 800 rms. So why is everyone saying that a 1000 watt mono amp would be good. I just want an amp that will do the job and will hit really hard. Does anyone know of an amp that will do that?
dont get at 2400 watt amp you will blow it as soon as you turn it on.
all you have to do is look at the rms and go by that dont look at peak it doesn’t matter. the 1000 watt mono amp will be perfect for it.
