so i just bought a kenwood kiv-701 and i plug my ipod in and it reads it and connects but no sound comes out, i pulled it out and looked at the back and saw that there was ipod audio out rca cables, idk if those need to be plugged into something but if they do, what? i am new with car electronics

How do I stop my Kenwood car radio from auto-retuning the station all the time?
I have a Kenwood car stereo. I run an iTrip for my iPod through it and until recently had no problem tuning the iTrip to a free radio frequency and enjoying uninterrupted listening. For the last few months, the radio has kept retuning itself to a set radio station so I can’t listen to my iPod for more than a second or two at a time. I am aware that in some car stereos you can switch the auto-retune function on or off. Does anyone have any idea how I can switch off this function?

check your handbook set the tuning to manual and manually tune to dead air ie no radio signal I have just set my ipod up at 90.5 then store this in the memory this should work fine when u tune the ipod to the same 90.5
